mediaco-op works on projects in two ways.

In many cases, organisations already have a well formed idea for a film or a webclip or some training workshops and simply need a suitable company to make it happen. We can help develop the ideas further ... or simply produce them.

We often work in partnership with other organisations with whom we have a close association, to develop films or training projects from scratch. We develop ideas together, share in preparing budgets and funding applications and create the project together. 

However you like to work, we are flexible.

These are some of the organisations we have been working with: Oxfam Scotland, Oxfam GB, British Red Cross, Childline, Co-operative Development Scotland, Careers Scotland, SCIAF, Acord, Big Lottery Fund, Edinburgh City Council, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Princes Trust, Scottish Women’s Aid, Scottish Independent Advocacy Alliance, Edinburgh Cyrenians, First Light, Scottish Pensioners Forum, Scottish Youth Parliament and Young Scot.

We have also produced films for BBC Scotland and Scottish Television,  Channel 4  and Al Jazeera. We are currently developing, with the support of Scottish Screen, an international television co-production filmed in Scotland and the Republic of Georgia.
